About Dr. Stephen Coppola
Growing up in Prospect, CT, Stephen Coppola didn’t dream of becoming a dentist. With an interest in creating video games, he majored in MIS (Management Information Systems) at The University of Connecticut where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Shortly after graduation, he focused on business management from 2005-2010 during which he spent more than two years managing dental practices on the business side.
It was in this side role that he discovered his true passion: DENTISTRY!
Dr. Coppola
decided to return to school to pursue a career as a general dentist with the goal of becoming a practice owner. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in the heart of Boston, MA, graduating Magna Cum Laude and near the top of his class. He returned to Connecticut upon graduation from dental school, and in October 2018, Dr. Coppola
acquired a practice being sold by two trusted dentists in Prospect, CT. Retaining the existing staff who had years of established rapport with their patients, the office was remodeled and enhanced with a clean, rustic atmosphere, updated technology, and a new logo!
Dr. Coppola
is a member of the American Dental of Association. He resides in his hometown of Prospect where he encourages his own community to embrace their oral health. He spends most of his time outside the office with his son, Leonardo.
Building Our Team
At Center Street Family Dentistry, we know that caring for our staff is right up there with caring for our patients. Dr. Coppola and his team of hygienists and dental assistants are continually learning and staying on top of the latest in dental technology and advancements through courses and seminars. There’s also fun to be had at 44 Center St! We love dressing up for the holidays, entering the Prospect Public Library’s Scarecrow Contest and getting together for a night of team building, escape rooms and dinner!
